Narrative Documentary

The story of your campaign

Building a movement doesn’t just happen cause you say so. Mobilizing people behind your cause requires a deliberate plan that takes place over the course of your entire campaign. Finding that narrative track is the first step, but then telling that story in a genuine and compelling manner is crucial. Many can try to replicate a genuine-looking documentary for political purposes, but in order to have a true effect, your documentary must be crafted by honest filmmakers.

What is a Green Job? The term has been floated for sometime now, but where does the rubber meet the road in a place with high unemployment like the tire capitol of Akron, OH? Using IB5k’s nationwide network, we documented one green entrepreneur’s journey to our nation’s Capitol in pursuit of support for his effort to transform his family’s auto parts factory into a wind turbine manufacturing facility. Jobs that his plant would create have the potential to turn around Ohio’s anemic economy, while cleaning the air we breathe and reducing our country’s dependence of foreign oil.
